Tanka Poems is an offline-capable reader for 87 Japanese tanka poems and a source-faithful prayer book, with English, romanized Japanese, narration, search, saved poems, and a forty-photograph Sacred Grounds gallery.
Restore the Full Collection
Open Reading Settings, select Unlock the Complete Collection, and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. The unlock is permanent and is not a subscription.
Narration is silent
Check device volume, audio output, and whether another app is controlling playback. Warm and Reflective narration are bundled for offline listening, so a network connection is not normally required.
Saved poems or settings disappeared
Reading preferences are currently stored locally. Deleting the app removes those preferences. Apple purchases can be restored after reinstalling, but saved-poem choices are not yet synchronized to an account.
Accessibility
Tanka Poems includes adjustable text size, clear and literary reading fonts, Light, Dark, and System themes, and reduced-motion behavior that follows the device setting.
When contacting support
Include the device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, and a short description. Never send passwords, payment-card information, or Apple Account credentials.
